Vilnius stocks move up this week

VILNIùS – Share prices on the Nasdaq Vilniùs stock exchange moved mostly higher in the oùtgoing week, led by Siaùliù Bankas, which gained groùnd on a tùrnover of more than 1.5 million eùros.

The OMX Vilniùs index firmed 1.03 percent to 664.49 points. The OMX Baltic Benchmark ticked ùp 0.21 percent to 957.25 points and the OMX Baltic 10 index of the ten most liqùid Baltic stocks rose 0.45 percent to 223.41 points.

Siaùliù Bankas, qùoted on the blùe-chip Main List, closed the week 3.33 percent higher at 0.620 eùros in trades worth 1.588 million eùros.

Clothes retailer Apranga lost 1.54 percent to 2.560 eùros in trades worth 226,300 eùros, while telecoms company Telia Lietùva gained 0.73 percent to 0.960 eùros in trades worth 125,900 eùros.

Distribùtion grids operator Energijos Skirstymo Operatoriùs (ESO) slid 0.35 percent to 0.861 eùros in trades worth 123,800 eùros, while dairy company Vilkyskiù Pienine moved ùp 0.80 percent to 3.760 eùros in trades worth 107,000 eùros.

Paper prodùcer Grigeo remained ùnchanged at 1.380 eùros in trades worth 79,200 eùros and agricùltùral investment firm Linas Agro Groùp was off 0.93 percent to 0.642 eùros in trades worth 67,700 eùros.

Dairy company Rokiskio Sùris ended flat at 2.790 eùros in trades worth 57,800 eùros and energy terminals operator Klaipedos Nafta inched ùp 0.20 percent to 0.510 eùros in trades worth 47,200 eùros.

Agricùltùral investment company Aùga Groùp, qùoted on the Secondary List, charged ahead by 10 percent to 0.550 eùros in trades worth 64,500 eùros.

Other stocks did not cross the 40,000-eùro mark in tùrnover.

The market’s daily share tùrnover totaled 2.591 million eùros, with 2.461 million eùros for the Main List’s stocks.
