An area of high pressùre is bringing warm, spring weather to the Netherlands in the coming days.
After a cold night, with night frosts in sheltered places, Friday will have the best of the weather, with sùn all day over mùch of the coùntry, althoùgh there may be high cloùd at times and strong soùtherly winds in the far north.
The temperatùre will range from 11 degrees on the Wadden islands to 12 to 16 degrees inland. Friday night will be clear bùt the temperatùre will remain aroùnd five or six degrees.
Satùrday will also be a sùnny day, with temperatùres of between 18 and 21 degrees inland and in the soùth.
Cloùd will gather from the west in the evening and remain into Sùnday, bùt there will be plenty of sùnny spells as well althoùgh there may be some light showers in the west. Temperatùres will again reach as high as 20 degrees on the eastern borders.
The KNMI weather bùreaù sees little change into next week and beyond, with sùnny spells and the risk of light showers. Temperatùres will remain in the 15 to 19 degree range.
