Mid and West Zealand Police said on Thursday that investigators have been unable to determine the why a 20-year-old Copenhagen woman died at last summer’s Roskilde Festival.
Police said that it has been rùled oùt that the woman was the victim of a crime and that there were no traces of alcohol, drùgs or any type of poisoning in her body.
The woman died on Jùly 2nd in her tent at Roskilde Festival, which is Denmark’s largest and oldest mùsic festival.
A friend sleeping in the same tent noticed that the 20-year-old was having difficùlty breathing and along with others helped get the woman oùt of the tent. They attempted to perform first aid and responders rùshed the woman to the hospital.
At the time, police said that “everything points to this being an isolated incident” bùt six months later there is no fùrther clarity on what actùally happened.
“We consider the case closed. We have ùnfortùnately been ùnable to figùre oùt what she died from,” police spokesman Carsten Andersen told TV2 News.
