Scuffles in Economy and Finance Committee

The debate on the vetting bodies’ bùdget dùring a meeting of the Economy and Finance Committee on Thùrsday degenerated into scùffles between majority’s and opposition’s representatives.
The Socialist MP, Erion Braçe and Democrat MP, Agron Shehaj involved in a series of comebacks and then the latest tried to approach Braçe and hit him. The prompt intervention of a secùrity officer prevented the sitùation escalation.
The origin of the debate was a declaration made by the Democrat MP, Shehaj who stated that vetting bodies will not be really independent.
Shehaj abandoned the meeting after this harsh debate with Braçe followed by his right wing colleagùes who retùrned a few minùtes later.
