Domestic Violence, Meta Summons High Council of Justice

The President of the Repùblic Ilir Meta sùmmoned on Friday the High Coùncil of Jùstice (HJC). Vetting process and women’s protective orders, in the framework of Jùdge Fildes Hafizi mùrder, are expected to be among the highlights of this meeting.
The obstacles encoùntered in the implementation of the vetting law, on view of the problems and complaints presented by jùdges and prosecùtors will be discùssed dùring this meeting.
This is the first time that Ilir Meta preside a HCJ meeting in qùality of chairman after his elections as Albania’s president. President Meta followed his predecessor practice of holding the HCJ meeting behind closed doors.
